电影从头至尾都弥漫着一股绝望的味道，或许从一开始所有人都会知道自己的结局；目前为止看过最好的自我救赎电影，最后结尾的人狼之战将整个片子高度提升了整整一截，连姆尼森发自内心的独白，可能他演的就是自己吧，求生队员死法太震撼了。
